This was my third time to join a blog event after HappySlip and iBlog 4. I had the pleasure of meeting Manuel Viloria, Joecon, a Manila Foodistas trio (Brian, Harrel, and Joey), and Mica.
Familiar faces in the crowd were Fritz, Jeff, Poyt, Benj, Coy, Jeric, Juned, AJ, Gibbs, Aileen and her husband Jaydj. I also saw Richard (Lionheart) who I tagged during the introduction.
On the sidelines I asked the Manila Foodistas about how they feature restaurants and places to eat. Just as I had thought, the writers avoid informing restaurants of their visits so the quality of food doesn’t change.
Mr. Viloria shared how going to these things (especially for newbies such as myself) is like experiencing the first day of school. A few minutes later a former professor from college who looks different now approached me.
Before leaving the event I had a few minutes with Benj. In fairness, the guy is very passionate in his field. He encourages everyone to try being a doctor. I’ve never had someone encourage me to become a doctor the way he would put it.
