Crater

This is dedicated to the eleven people that perished in an explosion at a popular shopping mall.

The most striking part in all of this isn’t the impeccable timing for our ravaged political landscape or the possible negligence of mall operators. The most heart-wrenching are the victims and their families regardless of what the investigation plays out.

I remember vividly the last time I was at that part of the mall. It was around three months ago when I was with Tom withdrawing from the ATM on the 2nd floor near the Parkway bridge. I remember looking at the ice cream stall at the base of two escalators.

Also, last Christmas season I bought some gift wrapper from the book kiosk on the Glorietta 2 lobby. Today that spot is known as “the crater”.
