Pocky

A little symbol of Japanese culture in pop modern times is this tasty snack. These crispy sticks coated with chocolate make a perfect combination when watching your favorite TV shows. I enjoy Pocky while watching DVDs on my laptop.

This was the original offering by Pocky. In later years they developed Almond and Strawberry variations. More recently wilder flavors appeared like “Men’s Pocky” (bittersweet chocolate), seasonal flavors like Honey and melon Pocky, and regional flavors like tea bean, green tea, and soy bean Pocky.

I guess it’s now my mission to try each flavor.
