Destinations

Earlier I was chatting with a bunch of friends through YM. My classmate Apple told me about her intentions to get married when she returns from Italy. Marriage?! Waah! In the meantime she’s waiting for a permit allowing her to work in Milan. Sosyal!

I was also chatting with Peepo. After resigning from Asian Hospital last December he’s still waiting for results from media outfits. Then there’s Kate at the national bank who bought her boss a gift. She accidentally texted what she bought her boss TO her boss (a message meant for me.) Ang clumsy mo talaga Kate!

And then there’s Judy.

This girl was responsible for those extremely pleasant drinking binges in college. She’s just so fun to be with since we kinda have that “Fil-*insert country of stay/origin*” background.

We always have stuff to talk about and mock. We would hang out with Conie at Speed (a now defunct hangout; now a Tea House) and play billiards. Yes, billiards! I don’t play billiards!

After beer we would retire to this kitchen that served authentic Korean food. I particularly loved the spicy noodle soup. It was perfect to get rid of the tipsiness.

Anyways she’s now serving in Iraq. Just joking.

After graduation in 2006 she returned to Jordan and found work at a television station there. I just found out through our chat she resigned recently and now does coordinating work for pilots of airplanes.

It’s amazing where people are these days.
