We wanted to experience Smallville on our last night in Iloilo City. After exploring restaurants and dessert shops in the area we settled at Freska Ilonggo Seafood and Inasal restaurant.
It was the beer balloon which grabbed our attention. We were looking for something new to try and this nice waitress kept inviting us to try their promos. Since the rest of the group left so suddenly we decided to just try the place ourselves.
Freska (Iloilo) is located at the entrance to Smallville along Diversion Road. You can’t miss it since it’s the first restaurant you’ll see on the left. I liked the warm interiors and the large windows.
We didn’t get to try their raved Ilonggo specialties like grilled managat, baked scallops, and baked oysters. We ordered one of the “five beers for the price of four” promos which came with some appetizers like lumpiang shanghai.
There’s nothing much else I can say other than the waitress and the other staff were so friendly to us. Freska has branches in Metro Manila like at Tiendesitas.
