Pizza Volante, Baguio City

Craving for pizza at 1:00 in the morning?  If you happen to be experiencing that craving while on the foggy streets of Baguio you should head to Pizza Volante.  A 24-hr open pizza parlor on Session Road.

Pizza Volante sign on Session Road

Situated just next to the more commercialized Greenwich pizza, first-timers (and perhaps old timers) will find a certain charm behind Pizza Volante.  With simple interiors and menus written in chalk on the large boards the ambiance would make fancy for a first date with a loved one.

A view of Session Road from Pizza Volante

The first level of Pizza Volante has a large opening towards Session Road that you might not even notice it amidst the pedestrian crowd on an ordinary afternoon.  You’ll have to look for a large green sign.

Kenny George pizza from Pizza Volante

Kenny George Pizza (Php 178.00 good for two) – I love thin crusted pizza and the Kenny George slides into my favorite pizza type.  It was a little sweet for me though I think this was the tomato sauce.

Shrimp pasta from Pizza Volante

Shrimp Pasta (Php 150.00) - The pasta was pretty good and priced decently.  My only qualm was that the shrimps were not plump and fresh to begin with (during our visit).

There are other wonderful choices of pasta and pizza on the menu.  I noted that the breakfast options looked enticing.  Pizza Volante might also be a great place to start your day.
