In the previous post we were the humble guests at a friend’s traditional engagement party in Naga. But before and after that formal event we were a noisy group of five snapping pictures like first time tourists. The five of us would form The Bicol Gang. And this was our story.
It finally happened. Colleagues and I witnessed our friend Mary get showered with precious gifts in a traditional Chinese court ritual. One of the most anticipated moments was watching her follow tradition by walking backwards from the entrance of the hall to her seat next to fiancé Jimboy.
This would mark the moment they would be officially engaged.
When I’m not on this blog I’m usually spending my time on Multiply or Facebook. Since I spend so much time on Multiply I’m thinking of upgrading to a Premium account in the near future.
So in the past few days instead of prioritizing my Bicol blog entries I’ve been designing my own MRT line! It’s just a way to let my fellow Multipliers visit my other online hangouts.
(It’s fully functional on Multiply.)

I think resolutions are for people who aren’t happy with certain aspects of their lives. For the first time I’ve found a sense of contentment. Despite my known flaws I am a happy person. I am lucky to have my family, friends, colleagues, and loved ones with me for another fantastic year.
Studio 23 kicks off the new year with five awesome movies! Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life (January 3), Traffic (January 10), The Ring (January 17), Old School (January 24), and Air Force One (January 31).
Catch Barkada Nights on Studio 23 every Saturday at 9:00 PM.
When my mom and brother survived a car accident a few months ago I told myself that was already the biggest blessing I could get for this year. I could not ask for anything more.
